In last month's message I predicted "a good placement in our catagory and a noce prize to go with it" for our parade in the Redwood City 4th of July Parade. My prediction came true! South Bay splaced second in Community Bands received a prize of $300. Good Job! Well done, ladies and Gentelmen of the band.

Another "well done" was by the Creole Jazz Kings at our July dance. They were well received by all of us and I am sure they will be back again. August brings us the Golden Gate Rhythm Machine. I have never heard them before, but I'm sure they will be as entertaining as all the bands that play at South Bay.

Thanks again for your support of our raffle, donation jar, and band sponsor. I found some "stimulus" money of my own adn would like to co-sponsor a band with someone. Come see me at the table by the bar.
